For this project, the Flexjet social media team requested three similarly structured, holiday-themed Instagram reels to showcase select co-branded luxury items available in the Flexjet Boutique ahead of the Christmas shopping season.
One reel was created for each featured brand: ISAIA, Master & Dynamic, and Ghurka.
I worked closely with Tori C, another talented designer on the team, to bring these to life. The concept was inspired by a holiday card illustration she had created earlier in the year that ultimately wasn’t selected for print. While it didn’t translate well as a physical piece, we realized it had strong potential as a digital storytelling element (especially given the tight timeline we were working with).
I imported Tori’s illustrated storefront scene into After Effects and carefully separated the artwork into layers to create depth and dimension. From there, I animated the scene, added simulated snowfall, and introduced a virtual camera move that slowly pushes into the shop window, revealing an illustrated version of the featured product inside. Once the animation and final end-card typography were complete, I brought everything into CapCut to pair it with on-brand, cozy-jazz Christmas music.
