The Plumbing Pioneers was founded in 2022 and serves the Springfield, MO community and surrounding areas.

Before mid-2024, the company had no true face. They sought a logo that radiated country-style friendliness while conveying the trust and authority of seasoned plumbing professionals.

During the research phase, I discovered that mascot logos are common in the plumbing industry, but I wanted to take the idea further, drawing from Davy Crockett’s iconic coonskin cap as a nod to adventurous leadership and marrying it with subtle, timeless plumbing-related symbols that feel authentic rather than cliché (i.e., a pipe wrench in the mascot's hand, as opposed to a plunger).
