Flex Drive Resident Car Share was a unique amenity launched in 2021 for Township 28 Apartments in Springfield, MO. The program allowed residents to reserve a Tesla Model 3 through a mobile app for pre-scheduled time slots, offering the flexibility of car ownership without the commitment.

The program needed a logo and vehicle wrap that felt official and recognizable, especially since the car itself would be driving around town as a moving advertisement. At the same time, it had to stay closely aligned with TLC Properties’ existing brand. That meant using their signature blue and their clean sans-serif typeface (Brandon Grotesque) to keep everything cohesive and familiar.

After exploring several directions, the final concept focused on the idea of movement and flexibility. The clockwise arrow wrapping around “Flex” represents both motion and the ability for residents to reserve the car on their own schedule. The goal was to create something simple, clear, and easy to recognize, whether viewed in an app, on signage, or wrapped across the side of a vehicle.
